Revenue rose on strong engineering and professional services execution in the sustainable technology business, partly offset by lower NASA-related volumes in the mission technology business. Net income and per-share earnings increased, helped by lower interest expense and a lower tax rate, while operating income declined because of higher spin-off costs. The company reaffirmed its full-year outlook as the planned separation of the mission technology business remains on track.
